Our Story
Down Home Drones was built on a passion for capturing moments from a new perspective and a commitment to doing things the right way.
That passion started early. During high school, I spent four years creating athletic videography for the DeRidder Dragons, learning how to tell stories through motion, timing, and perspective. At the same time, I helped found and competed on both the school’s robotics team and drone team—developing a strong foundation in technology, precision, and flight.
After graduation, I continued that journey working with the Ragin’ Cajuns collegiate football program, further sharpening my skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where quality and consistency matter.
Now, that experience has come full circle. Down Home Drones was created to bring professional, reliable aerial services to local communities and businesses—combining technical skill with a personal, down-to-earth approach.
